Sumter County Landfill

Hours: Monday - Saturday, 7:30AM - 4PM; CLOSED Sunday

LANDFILL COLLECTS:

  • Household electronics - televisions, computers, computer monitors, printers and other electronic equipment
  • Ink/toner cartridges
  • Pallets
  • Tires
  • Used motor oil, filters and bottles

Electronics, household (E-scrap - televisions, computers, computer monitors, printers and other electronic equipment as well as ink/toner cartridges) - Sumter County will collect e-scrap on the first Saturday of each month at the Sumter County Public Works Department located at 1289 North Main Street. For more information, call 436-2241. In addition, e-scrap is not accepted at the Sumter County Recycling Centers, but is accepted at the Sumter County Landfill. See above for details.
