S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control to Host 2017 Environmental Assistance Conference

[COLUMBIA, SC] The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) will hold the 2017 Environmental Assistance Conference on November 8, 2017 at the Medallion Conference Center in Columbia.

Registration is now open for DHEC and Industry: Going Beyond the Fenceline Together. For the first time, the conference will feature an Exhibitor Showcase with over 30 businesses and organizations.

The agenda includes panel discussions and presentations on topics such as citizen monitoring, personal sensors and drones; emergency preparedness; permitting challenges; and, community awareness. Myra Reece, DHEC's Environmental Affairs Director, will present the keynote address, and attendees will also hear updates from the department's air, water and land programs.

Registrations for both attendees and exhibitors are on a first come, first serve basis. Space is available for 30 exhibitors and approximately 400 attendees. The exhibitor fee is $250.00 per table and includes registration for two attendees. The attendee fee is $50.00. All registrations include access to the exhibitor room and all presentations, as well as a light breakfast, lunch, and breaks.
