Home Health Care Services
Home Health Care Services has provided care to the citizens of Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Calhoun, and Orangeburg Counties since 1966. The services provide quality health care to patients in their homes. The care helps patients reach or maintain their best health condition. Because of this program, terimally ill patients can be released from the hospital earlier or nursing home care can be delayed.
Home Health Care Services are available to people of all ages who are in need of skilled nursing care. Care is provided under the direction of the patient's physician. While care of a patient is the primary focus, services are family-centered. Home Care Services include:
- skilled nursing,
- physical therapy,
- speech therapy,
- occupational therapy,
- home health aide,
- medical social worker, and
- nutrition counseling by a registered dietician.
Our services are licensed and certified with the Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) and accredited by Community Health/Health Promotion Accreditation Program (CHAP).
Fees: Pay sources include Medicaid, Medicare, Veterans Administration, private insurance, Champus and self-pay.
