Environmental Health Services
General Environmental Health Services include:
- inspection and regulation of mobile home parks, subdivisions, septic tank systems, hotels, motels, schools, and childcare facilities,
- investigation of nuisance complaints,
- campground sanitation and safety,
- inspection and regulation of all food service establishments, retail food stores, summer feeding programs, mobile food, temporary food services and special events,
- rabies control,
- lead poisoning investigations,
- product safety,
- vector and mosquito control,
- private well water analysis, and
- educational environmental programs.
Fees:
New septic tank contractors and/or pumpers license:
Single license - $100.00; dual license - $150.00
Septic tank application fee - $100.00
Subdivision review process - $50, $100 or $150 (Depending upon the number of lots)
Well water fees - $25 for Bac T
Well water fees - $50 for Metals & Minerals Analysis
Annual food service/retail food store permit - $60.00 (fee may be based on annual gross sales of food)
