We strive to reach goals that will lead to healthier, safer, and longer lives for residents of the counties we serve. Our goals include:
- Improving the health status of all children
- Reducing infant mortality
- Assuring intervention and assistance for children with special health care needs
- Reducing low birth weight babies
BabyNet is a program that provides services to infants and toddlers, birth to three years of age, with developmental delays or diagnosed disabilities. Children who meet eligibility criteria are served regardless of family income or nationality. The health care provider, parents or guardian can submit a referral form or contact the BabyNet office by calling:

This program strives to provide the best possible care to children ages birth to 21 years and some adults with special health care needs who have low to moderate incomes.
CRS Offers:
- Medical evaluation and treatment
- Nursing, nutrition, social work services and counseling
- Hearing aids, medicine and supplies
- Speech, physical and occupational therapy services
- Summer camp for children ages 8 to 17 years
- Evaluation, treatment, supplies and medicines for children and adults with sickle cell disease
- Free blood factor and related supplies to children with hemophilia
- Immunizations

Services are available to any Medicaid eligible child from birth to 21 years of age.
- Tuberculin Skin Testing
- Immunizations
- Nutritional, developmental and health counseling
- Post Partum / Newborn Home Visit services are available to any infant born to a Medicaid recipient. Some private insurance carriers also cover this service with prior approval.
- Outreach Nurses who work with Medicaid patients on the importance of a medical home, age specific screenings and appointments.
- Other services such as hemoglobin testing and lead screening are available for individuals meeting guidelines.

The WIC program provides services to children from birth to five years and to women who are pregnant, have recently been pregnant, are breastfeeding, or have a special need that can be helped by WIC foods and nutrition counseling, and who have low or moderate income.
WIC services cover:
- Women who are pregnant, have recently been pregnant or are breastfeeding
- Newborns to age five years
- Provisions of specific foods needed for health and growth
- Nutrition education for all program participants
- Breastfeeding support and information for new mothers
