Grants Available for Fluoridation of Public Water Systems
The Department of Health and Environmental Control will administer federal grant funds to reimburse eligible public water systems for costs incurred in the purchase of fluoride feeders and analytical equipment. Both new installations and replacement of existing equipment will be considered.
To be considered for reimbursement, expenses must have been incurred during the grant period: June 29, 2007 through June 30, 2008.
No cash or in-kind matching funds are required from the water system.
Deadline for grant applications is October 19, 2007.
