What is the Climate Registry?

THE CLIMATE REGISTRY is a multi-state and tribe collaboration aimed at developing and managing a highly reliable and uniform greenhouse gas emissions reporting system. The goal is to develop a system capable of supporting various greenhouse gas emission reporting and reduction policies for member states, tribes and other entities. The registry will provide an accurate, complete, consistent, transparent and verified set of greenhouse gas emissions data from reporting entities, supported by a robust accounting and verification infrastructure.
